Weather station

With this weather station, scientific play and learning is brought to the playground in the public outdoor space. This can be in a kindergarten or in a housing association.

The weather station should bring the wind closer to the child and give insights into weather phenomena and the change of the seasons. At the same time, the framework for a community is created here in which children come together and enjoy playing together outdoors. Perhaps the weather will be followed over a longer period of time, the first notes made - and interest in meteorology aroused.

The product is designed by an architect and made in oak. It has a height of 2 meters.
The weather station comes with a rain gauge, a sundial, two thermometers and a pinwheel. Also, the wind directions are marked on each side of the stem.
