Obstacle course - non-slip balance post
The non-slip balance post creates the perfect jumping-off point between obstacles in a jungle gym. Children can practice their balance and coordination skills as they step onto the balance step and grab the support post.
The balance post helps to create a good flow of movement between the different obstacles. The balance post can be placed in a variety of ways and combined with other balance posts to create an entire course where children can zigzag from post to post. It can also be used as a small rest stop where children can find their footing between obstacles. It is therefore an ideal balancing tool for motor skills courses in public outdoor spaces and playgrounds where the balance post can help create physically challenging and fun play.
The balance post consists of a rotationally moulded tread with a non-slip surface that is raised 45 cm from the ground on a stainless steel post. A stainless steel support post is mounted in the centre of the tread. Overall, the balance post measures 37 cm in length, 37 cm in width and 145 cm in height.
