Climbing structure - Organiq giraffe
The 462 cm tall yellow giraffe towers over the playground, creating a natural focal point in the outdoor space. Its long neck and distinctive head make the climbing frame visible from a distance and give the children a recognisable animal to gather around and play with.
The giraffe’s body is designed as an open climbing frame with netting, ropes and handholds. Here, children can climb through the sides and move across by climbing from hold to hold using the ropes. Play helps develop balance, body control and judgement of distance.
The climbing frame measures 272 × 127 cm and is made of galvanised and powder-coated steel. The nets consist of polypropylene ropes with a steel core, whilst the other elements are made of HDPE and rotationally moulded polyethylene.
